CBRE Associate Project Manager in Manhattan, New York
About the role
As an Associate Project Manager, you will have anopportunity to learn and grow alongside our dedicated Project Management team.You will provide advanced administrative support to operations, administration,and construction management for real estate projects with directaccountability for project delivery. This will include documentationpreparation, issue for commitment, and reporting. You may also beresponsible for managing smaller projects with oversight from a moreexpert Project Manager or leader.
This job is part of the Project Management function.They are responsible for the management of projects from initiationthrough completion.
What you’ll do
· Support ProjectManagement team to manage all facets of project management (budget,schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual commercial realestate projects including planning, design, construction management, occupancy,and closeout.
· Implement projectdocumentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensureproject data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, andcoordinated.
· Track the progress ofeach project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approvedtimelines. Reports status and variances. Crafts action plans tomeet objectives, budget, and schedule.
· Communicate with otherprogram controls disciplines and with program delivery to effectivelycoordinate controls.
· Coordinate with theDelivery Director to ensure resource requirements are appropriatelycommunicated and coordinated.
· Prepare and coordinatedelivery schedules to facilitate planning the work
· May manage smallerprojects as assigned. May lead third-party project delivery resources/team(typically smaller team) and be responsible for tracking performanceand motivating team members.
· Apply general knowledgeof standard principles and techniques/proceduresto accomplish assigned tasks and address routine problems.
· Have a broadunderstanding and knowledge of your field and some knowledge of several jobsubject areas within the function.
· Lead by example andmodel behaviors that are consistent with company RISE values. May convinceothers to reach an agreement. Explain complex information to others instraightforward situations.
· Impact the qualityof own work and the work of others on the team.
· Work primarily withinstandardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meetdeadlines.
· Other duties asassigned.
What you’ll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to workin the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in thefuture.
· Bachelor's Degreepreferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience including at least 2 years ofexperience in construction project management, with specific expertise insupporting large-scale infrastructure projects preferred. Instead of adegree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
· In-depth knowledge ofMicrosoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Experience working with Kahua is a plus.
· Previous AECexperience preferred and should include construction project management,owner's rep, or project management experience for commercial projects.Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices isrequired.
· Ability to read andunderstand architectural drawings, knowledge of leases, contracts, andconstruction practices is helpful.
· Understanding ofexisting procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. and theability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience toapply appropriate judgment and precedents.
· Strong interpersonalskills with an inquisitive mentality.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $105,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
