r*About This Role*

This position exists to provide cleaning and sanitation in the various areas at the Vet Med Complex at KSU. Subject to on-call, standby and inclement weather response. This position is considered essential. Responsible to know, understand, and follow safety guidelines in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, to include K-State and Facilities policies and procedures. Responsible for complying with the safe work practices identified in the departmental Job Hazard Analysis, Personal Protective Equipment Assessment and Departmental Safety Orientation Acknowledgment form. Responsible for the implementation of safety regulations, guidelines, and work practices to prevent injury to yourself and others.

*Worksite Description*

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

*What You\'ll Need to Succeed*

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer experience performing custodial tasks in a hospital environment or in a commercial setting requiring specific sanitation procedures.
• Be able to learn the operation of a wide variety of commercial janitorial equipment and understand/follow explicit instructions in English, both in oral and written form.

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
