The Operations Continuous Improvement Project Manager is uniquely positioned to ensure the success of people, projects, and processes to deliver upon and exceed client expectations. The Project Manager role will work cross functionally to lead, improve, and execute projects with Operational impact to clients, members, and cross-functional departments. Each project must include measurable outcomes, allowing us to scale our business and improve client satisfaction. The ability to identify measure outcomes to align with scaling our business and processes is key. This role will also collaborate across business units to successfully implement changes which may be driven by internal process/product changes, client expectations, internal data/feedback, PBM partners, and/or regulatory/compliance requirements. The successful candidate will be a proactive, organized, and innovative individual capable of directing and improving our business processes. This candidate will understand data and have the ability to understand trends, establish an informed opinion on best path forward.
Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
Adhere to project management disciplines and standards related artifacts (i.e. project plans, issue/risk logs, status reports, meeting materials, decision & change logs, impact and stakeholder analysis and more).
Coordinate and lead internal resources project team for streamlined execution of projects.
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
Perform root cause analysis on identified problems.
Assist in the development of communication and change management plans.
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Manage a collection of projects within a portfolio working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success.
Manage projects independently and escalate issues to management as appropriate.
Measure and report project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Prepare project level status reports and other management reporting demonstrating the progress, schedule, scope, risks, and change management for the assigned portfolio.
Provide oversight to other project managers and with stakeholders executing within the assigned portfolio, ensuring project adherence to lifecycle guidelines and processes.
Work closely with cross-functional Project Management teams, Product leaders and senior stakeholders throughout the organization.
Required Skills / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years of experience in operations, processes, or improvement roles.
2+ years of experience pharmacy benefits or related industry.
Six Sigma yellow belt certification required within one year of start date.
Working proficiency of company standard MS Windows and associated office productivity software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required.
Proven ability to autonomously lead, counsel, influence and find compromise solutions and motivate diverse project teams.
Proven history of utilizing continuous improvement philosophy, tools and techniques to drive significant and quantifiable efficiency improvement projects.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
A high level of curiosity, passion for learning, and passion to help others be successful.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Smartsheet or project management system/tool experience preferred.
Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $73 ,600 to $92 ,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
