National Dentex Dental Lab Technician (Dentures) in Manchester, New Hampshire

Description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician opportunity specializing in denture fabrication at NDX H&O Dental Laboratory in Manchester, NH.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist

  • Removable prosthetics knowledge required

  • Processing, Finishing or Waxing dentures and partials preferred

  • Implant knowledge is a plus

  • All other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity

  • Detail oriented

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent

  • Preferred: 1-3 years in a dental laboratory denture fabrication department

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

  • Wet grinders

  • Hand-pieces

  • Coping Saws

  • Bard Parker Knives

  • Steamers

  • Acetone

  • Die-Separator

  • Accelerator

  • Glue

  • Die-Hardener

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach

  • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions

  • Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information

  • Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color
