Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for handling materials, packing, and supporting general production activities. Could be responsible for using a forklift and heavy lifting. Will be transporting chemicals.
Responsibilities
Handle and manage materials within the warehouse.
Perform packing duties as required.
Support general production activities.
Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.
Assist in maintaining a well-organized stock environment.
Essential Skills
Experience in warehouse operations.
Proficiency in material handling and packing.
Ability to operate RF scanners effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a stocker is advantageous.
Work Environment
The work environment is relatively clean but may become hot, especially in the chemical room.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manchester, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
