Position Overview
The Construction Laborer supports a large, ground-up data center project in Manassas by performing general labor and site cleanup tasks. This role works closely with the general contractor and site team to ensure the job site remains clean, safe, and well-organized throughout all phases of construction.
This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals with prior experience on large construction sites who take pride in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site through regular cleanup activities.
Sweep floors and remove dust, debris, and excess construction materials.
Collect, sort, and dispose of construction waste and trash in designated containers.
Assist with general construction labor tasks as directed by the general contractor or site leadership.
Support ongoing site operations by completing additional cleanup or basic labor tasks as project needs evolve.
Follow all site-specific safety rules, protocols, and guidelines at all times.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience performing construction labor, preferably on data center or large commercial projects.
Proven experience working on active construction sites with general contractors.
Ability to perform site cleanup tasks, including sweeping, debris removal, and waste disposal.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in ground-up construction projects.
Previous work on large, complex job sites involving multiple trades.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to perform physically demanding work throughout the day.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
