About the role

As Site Engineering Manager in our Bahrain Factory, you'll integrate innovation with strategy, leaving your mark across a tapestry of brands. This role isn't just a job, it is esponsible for managing and executing non-routine, strategic, engineering projects that are crucial to the Factory's operation and success while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving business outcomes. Taking the coordination lead, Site Engineering Manager works closely with internal and external parties to ensure engineering disciplines are applied to satisfy production requirements and deliver efficient, effective and flexible engineering solutions to support the business needs.
Your responsibilities
Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects
Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects; OTIF
Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project clients
Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals
Budget monitoring and trend tracking
Participating in client/contractor meetings and resolving client/site management project issues
Review and approve project client invoices
Ensure that all the contractors are trained on EHS procedure before working on site
Conduct risk assessments, environmental impact / aspect assessments of the engineering works
Ensure that all the legal EHS requirements are being met
Ensure that hazards and incidents are timely reported and investigated
Ensure all the site safety procedures are being followed with respect to the new projects
Ensure succession pipeline is built in the engineering team
To get involved in the risk assessment and aspect/impact assessments of the site
Conduct other duties and special project as required
The experience we're looking for
8 years+ progressive Engineering experience in a related position in FMCG Experience of delivering results through cross-functional working
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Knowledge of onsite HS, Quality & Finance and GMS procedures
Ability to drive superior performance by building a high-performance team culture
Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
Results orientated and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadline
Excellent decision-making abilities
Self-starter and able to motivate others
Anticipates and overcomes obstacles
Proven analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
