Vanguard Technical Project Manager, Specialist in Malvern, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and deliver complex AI, model and data management and governance projects on time and within scope.
Data Governance Expertise: Implement and advance enterprise AI, model and data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business and technology teams, and senior leadership to ensure alignment and adoption of governance practices.
Risk & Compliance: Identify and manage AI and data-related risks; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, BCBS 239, NIST AI 600).
Review and Oversight: Conduct AI and data policy compliance assessments, design methodologies, and support issue management and reporting.
Process Improvement: Develop scalable solutions and strategies to enhance AI and data governance capabilities and operational efficiency.
Reporting & Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs and KRIs to measure project success and governance effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on AI and/or data management and governance.
Strong understanding of AI and/or data governance principles, AI monitoring frameworks, and policy/standards rollout processes.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, NIST AI RMF).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Experience with AI and data initiatives and risk management practices.
Exposure to cybersecurity and technology control design related to AI and data protection. Preferred
Ability to design and implement evergreen solutions for governance scalability. Preferred
Familiarity with Collibra or similar data governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Alation) and/or AI/model governance tools. Preferred
