Franklin County Personnel Department Motor Equipment Operator I in Malone, New York
Franklin County residency is required. Title: Motor Equipment Operator I Seasonal Temporary, Not to Exceed 6 months Base Salary or Hourly:$22.6533per hour Department: Highway
Minimum Qualifications: A) One year of paid experience, that included operating a motor vehicle; or B) Proof of completion of a two (2) year vocational heavy equipment program or equivalent.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: (Copy of drivers license must accompany application) Possession of an appropriate NYS Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required at time of application and maintain a driving record acceptable to the Employers insurance carrier throughout employment.
NOTE: Verifiable part-time experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full-time experience requirements.
PREFERENCE MAY BE GIVEN TO CURRENT EMPLOYEES AT THE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT PER ARTICLE 3.1 (B) OF THE UPSEU AGREEMENT
