Franklin County Personnel Department Legal Secretary to District Attorney in Malone, New York
Civil Service Eligible There is currently an eligible list in effect from which candidate(s) will be contacted for their interest in the vacancy. If a candidate has previously held this title permanently and wishes to ask for reinstatement (for permanent positions only), contact the Personnel Department for instructions. OR Provisional Appointment Pending Civil Service Exam to be announced at a later date Minimum Qualifications: Either: (Copy of college transcript (unofficial is accepted) must accompany application) A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college with an Associates Degree in secretarial science, secretarial administration, legal secretary, legal office administration, office technology, business administration, or related field; or B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two (2) years of legal clerical experience which shall have involved typing; or C) An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above
