We serve many areas in Upstate New York as well as in Northern Vermont. Most work we perform is on-site for our customers, however there are times when you will be at our shop location.
Job Title: Fire Extinguisher Technician
Job Description:
Conduct monthly/annual inspections and maintenance on various types of extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems
Repair and install extinguishers
Repair and install kitchen suppression systems
Document work is done on sites via service tags, system reports, and invoices
Maintain a clean and stocked work environment (shop and vehicle)
In shop work required
Requirements:
Valid drivers license
Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Able to go up and down ladders
Strong communication, problem solving, and ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Good customer relations
On-site training and certification will be provided on NFAP 10 standards. The typical technician workday is from 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. There may be times you must come in earlier, stay late, or on the weekend, depending on customer needs. Starting pay is $17.00-17.50/hour.
