Case Services Aide (HELP Program) Base Salary or Hourly:$39,140

Civil Service Eligible There is currently an eligible list in effect from which candidate(s) will be contacted for their interest in the vacancy. If a candidate has previously held this title permanently and wishes to ask for reinstatement (for permanent positions only), contact the Personnel Department for instructions. OR Promotional (Exam will be required) Promotional candidate will need to participate in the next exam. To be eligible for the promotional position, employees must meet the promotional qualifications listed below within the Franklin County Social Services Department: 24 months of service currently in the title of Community Services Worker. Per amendment to Civil Service Law, Section 52.10(a) which became effective 9/4/24, time served provisionally immediately preceding permanent appointment shall count towards meeting the time in title and the employee shall be eligible to take the promotion exam. OR *Non-Competitive Position/HELP Program On or before the date of the exam or appointment, to be eligible, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications: A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate's Degree or higher; or B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two (2) years experience in a nonprofessional position involving clerical, administrative or office management experience.

SPECIAL REOUIREMENTS: (Copy of NYS Driver's License must accompany completed application.) Possession of a current and valid New York State Driver's License at time of application and throughout employment.

Case Services Aide (Per Diem) - HELP Program 2 Positions Base Salary or Hourly:$21.5052 per hour
