What are we looking for?
Human Resources Intern serving Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi supports the HR department while gaining practical exposure to core human resources functions. The trainee assists the HR team with daily administrative and operational tasks, including recruitment coordination, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate records. The role also involves supporting training programs, organizing learning activities, maintaining employee files, and assisting with HR documentation.
In addition, the trainee helps with basic compensation and benefits administration and contributes to initiatives that strengthen team member engagement and workplace culture. Through this structured learning experience, the trainee develops a solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices while enhancing communication, organizational, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good command of spoken and written English to effectively support business communication.
- Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
- A proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
- Capable of working efficiently under physical and mental pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and MS Office applications is preferred
