JOB DESCRIPTION
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As Food & Beverage Events Executive serving Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities across all Food & Beverage events by proactively driving Food & Beverage revenue and enhancing different activities for all Outlets. You will interact frequently with guests and clients, curating exceptional Destination Dining and bespoke Food & Beverage outlets arrangements.
In addition, you will oversee the Food & Beverage events by planning, activation of all Food & Beverage Outlets.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Drive revenue growth through events and destination dining.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings to meet revenue targets.
- Respond promptly to all F&B catering and sales enquiries.
- Maintain high attention to detail in event planning and communication.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments (Operations, F&B, Front Office).
- Lead weekly F&B event coordination meetings.
- Participate in revenue and marketing meetings.
- Build and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
- Deliver customized, bespoke event experiences with upselling focus.
- Develop strong client relationships with excellent communication skills.
- Understand and exceed customer expectations consistently.
- Conduct engaging site inspections and outlet show rounds.
- Support hotel promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in systems.
- Ensure all bookings, contracts, and billing details are accurate.
- Utilize systems efficiently and follow best practices.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve post-event issues.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Plan and execute events end-to-end, ensuring seamless delivery and guest satisfaction

- Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
- Minimum of (2) years in a similar position in Food & Beverage or sales
- Extensive Food & Beverage Experience within a luxury setting.
- Experience in Events role with proven track record
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong presentations skills
- Prioritization skills necessary to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of local market
- Proficient level of verbal and written English
- Understanding of basic revenue management practices
- Sound computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, Opera and Delphi
