Manulife Media Analyst in Makati City, Philippines
Manulife is embarking on a multi-year journey to build a Global Performance Marketing Shared Service CoE (Center of Excellence) which will fuel our bold ambition to become a digital customer leader. The function brings together Marketing Technology (Martech) and Demand Generation (Demand Gen) – a comprehensive, full-funnel approach designed to drive tailored customer journeys powered by connected data, that when integrated raises brand awareness, drives quality traffic, generates leads, secures sales, and fosters brand loyalty.
We are looking for an innovative and curious Media Analyst to join our dynamic and growing global team and help us in our digital transformation and data democratization journey.
Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Media Hub Lead, the Media Analyst is responsible for producing high-quality insights from data and trends and turning these into actionable steps and recommendations for our Global Wealth and Asset Management and Insurance media team across APAC.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of analytical expertise and storytelling ability, enabling them to transform complex data into meaningful narratives and strategic recommendations. In this role, you will interpret and analyze data from various media platforms to uncover actionable insights that drive our business decisions.
Data Interpretation and Storytelling: Transform data analyses into engaging narratives that resonate with stakeholders and drive actionable insights. Use storytelling techniques to effectively communicate why insights are significant to the business.
Competitor and Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough competitor and media performance analysis, identifying trends and best practices across multiple platforms. Provide strategic recommendations based on these findings to enhance our media strategies.
Proactive Initiative Leadership : Identify and spearhead key analysis projects in alignment with business needs, ensuring insights generated are impactful and relevant.
Data Management: Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources, ensuring high levels of accuracy and reliability.
Trend Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to identify key trends, patterns, and consumer behavior insights that inform business strategies. Compile comprehensive reports that present findings in a clear and visually appealing manner.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand their specific needs and deliver data-driven insights that empower decision-making processes.
Effectiveness Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, using insights to make timely adjustments and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
6-8 years relevant experience in a similar role preferably with a B2B background.
Demonstrated technical aptitude (i.e., use of software tools, coding experience, Excel, etc.)
Experience with Business Intelligence data visualization tools (Tableau, Domo, Power BI, etc.)
Experience with digital media and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and Media Platforms (Google Marketing Platform, Meta, LinkedIn etc.)
Experience with digital marketing campaign analysis.
Understand the nuances between the different channels and media platforms to ask the right questions.
Experience in investment / asset management would be highly beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Business-level English, both written and spoken
