Staples Sales Development Representative in Maitland, Florida

This is a hybrid position at our Maitland office with a three-day in office expectation.
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) contributes to Staples success by connecting potential customers with the right Staples platform to meet and or solve their business needs. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to significantly impact the growth and development of our lead management and operations team and will work closely with Sales peers, Operations and Marketing to ensure the success of the program. The SDR’s are responsible for prospecting, qualifying, selling and driving new business into the top of the sales funnel. This team has a large effect on Staples bottom line: executing at the top of the funnel is what drives revenue out of the bottom by ensuring we are hitting and exhausting the best quality leads.
Calling warm leads generated through inbound calls and marketing channels
Qualifying, converting or closing prospects
Process lead lists down the Staples lead funnel ensuring the most qualified leads hit sales
Research prospects on LinkedIn and other relevant internal databases
Meet daily, weekly and monthly Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) Conversions and Wins
What you bring to the table:
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
People Oriented
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
Customer first mindset
Willingness to learn
Strong time management skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to transition from one task to another

Ability to overcome objection
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
Prior work experience having conversations via phone, email or chat
Prior experience producing results on a day-to-day basis
Experience overcoming multiple objections in the course of a call
Experience using software like Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com or other CRM
High school diploma or GED
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
College degree
Minimum 1 year of blended customer service and sales experience in a Call Center environment is preferable
Experience selling over the phone
Previous experience using salesforce.com or a comparable sales tool
