Sr. R&D Supervisor (Gas Metering)
The R&D Gas Quality department is developing devices to analyze combustible gases. As the energy sector continues to transform, our goal is to respond with innovative technologies—such as applications for biogas and green hydrogen.
We are looking to expand our Gas Quality development team by hiring an R&D Manager.
Responsibilities:
Define, assess and implement Gas Quality projects
Partner with offering management for portfolio strategy and technology roadmap
Pursue Advanced Development initiatives to design differentiated products.
Identify areas for improvement by monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators and implementing on-going strategies to improve
Drive Cycle Time projects to improve agility
Evaluate current technology challenges to prioritize projects
Deliver productivity, delivery and quality enhancements
Demonstrate global mindset; develops global networks and involves global organizations in technical activities.
Demonstrate integrity in technology collaborations and reviews. Ensure key contributors are accorded recognition.
Routinely apply and encourage other employees in the application of processes, practices and company values.
Drive implementation of key Honeywell programs and processes
Conduct planning and analysis of design capabilities to ensure that the best available technologies are employed to provide cost-effective products that meet market expectations
Engage with Production, Quality, and Offering Management to ensure product standards
Oversee department budget
Maintain the technology roadmap for Gas Quality products
Business Travel
Regular travel to various company sites as required.
Qualifications
A completed technical degree in microtechnology, physics, physical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, or a related discipline
Strong interdisciplinary knowledge, particularly in gas chromatography, sensor technology, fluidics, microfluidics, and software
Proficiency in German and English
