Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

This role sets up and operates CNC machines to produce precision parts for pneumatic cylinders and manifolds. You adjust tooling and offsets to maintain tight tolerances, interpret technical documentation, and ensure that every part meets production drawing specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts for pneumatic cylinders and manifolds according to production drawings.

  • Change and adjust tool offsets to maintain required dimensions and tolerances as specified in production drawings.

  • Read and interpret production drawings, machine manuals, and electrical schematics to determine machining operations and setups.

  • Perform G and M code edits at the machine to optimize programs and correct dimensional issues as needed.

  • Use measuring tools to verify part dimensions and ensure parts meet quality and specification requirements.

  • Follow basic machine practices and safety standards while operating and maintaining CNC equipment.

  • Use computer, word processing, and spreadsheet software as needed for documentation, basic data entry, and job tracking.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve machining issues and continuously improve processes.

Essential Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience working with CNC lathes.

  • Hands-on experience making G and M code edits at the machine control.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.

  • Knowledge of basic machine practices and safety standards in a machining environment.

  • Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions.

  • Ability to use a computer and basic word processing and spreadsheet software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with Eurotech CNC machines is preferred.

  • Familiarity with pneumatic cylinder and manifold components is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.

  • Ability to troubleshoot basic machining and dimensional issues at the machine.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Maineville, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
