Bureau Vertias North America Testing Process Improvement and Digital Solution Manager in Maharashtra, India
PURPOSE OF POSITION
We are seeking an experienced and motivated candidate who can drive operational excellence and digital transformation across CPS Testing by facilitating the identification and elimination of process waste, re engineering workflows, and leading the end to end digitization of priority tasks. Bridge operational needs with scalable systems and AI enabled solutions to improve productivity, quality, client satisfaction, and margin—ensuring every initiative has a clear business case, robust governance, and tracked value realization. Foster the cross sharing of solutions within the global network reducing efforts and maximizing outcome.
Reports to VP, OEP. Operates in a global matrix with strong collaboration across Operations, Regional OEP, Digital Client Solutions, and IT. May have a solid line to a regional/functional leader with a dotted line to the OEP VP. Leads and animates the OEP / Digital Excellence communities
All responsibilities are executed within the BV Absolutes , Code of Ethics , and BV Group policies , role‑modelling integrity , accountability , and service excellence .
2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and animate the TST Process Improvement & Digital Excellence communities; establish governance, knowledge repositories, and metrics to track effectiveness
Work with the areas OEP and digital relays to understand the work done in regions to assess current operational processes using Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma; run time & motion analyses and prioritize improvements by value/effort.
Partner with the area OEP relays to identify manual, error prone, or high effort tasks along the 10 steps process; review how to simplify and digitize them end to end.
Support business case creation for process and digital initiatives; ensure expected value (productivity, quality, data integrity, revenue protection) is quantified for prioritization.
Own the digitization pipeline: triage requests, manage and de risk the feature backlog, and coordinate release planning with IT/Engineering.
Support process re-engineering to define requirements; translate operational needs into scalable, and governed solutions.
Support the planning of roll out, change management, and training; track adoption and benefits by region and consolidate reports for leadership.
Identify locally developed tools and evaluate them for global integration with the OEP relays; champion AI solutions where feasible and scale proven innovations.
Maintain centralized repositories for SOPs, process maps, digital features, and lessons learned; ensure timely updates and transparency.
-Conduct periodic user satisfaction surveys; analyze findings and feed priorities into the process/digital backlogs..
3. Qualification and Experience
Master’s degree in Industrial or Digital Industrial Engineering preferred; Bachelor’s in Engineering/Operations accepted
Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt preferred).
Digital product management experience; Scrum/Agile certification valued
4. Skills & Qualities :
10+ years’ international work experience (TIC industry strongly preferred) with operational exposure.
5+ years driving process improvement and/or managing back office systems features & roadmaps
Demonstrated ability to take product features from 0→1 and scale globally in a matrix organization.
Proficient in driving cultural change toward continuous improvement and standard work. Aligning multiple regions to converge on common, scalable solutions and associated process change
Strong analytical problem solving; planning, tracking, and reporting rigor
Excellent communication, understand how to lead by influence; hands on, fast paced, execution oriented mindset, make it happen type of profile
Fluent in English

Skills/Experience:
(Mandatory)
Should have BTech/BE or MCA degree.
6-8 years of experience in Java/J2EE, presently working as TL/PL.
Good understanding of design patterns, tools and Object Oriented techniques.
Experience with Architecture and design of complex enterprise level applications.
Fluent with J2EE technologies like – Spring MVC, Hibernate/ JPA/Mybatis (ORM tool).
Experience on Debugging tools & Code-analyzers.
Strong DB and SQL knowledge:
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Good knowledge of various project estimation techniques
Good working knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/REST).
Should have experience in Team Handling, able to lead the development.

Duties and Responsibilities
6+ years of progressive, strong work experience in software solution development and technical project management in distributed systems & business process management.
Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation.
Should take ownership of the product with respect to high level and low level design.
Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
Reviews work of the development team, communicate and enforce code quality standards.
Performs code reviews and mentors junior developers.
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively. Holds regular status meetings with development team.
Understands complex database concepts and effectively apply different database design techniques.
Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project.
Work with project managers to help define project requirements, scope, roadmap, timelines and quality targets.
Keep all stakeholders well informed about the status of product development.
Should lead and mentor a team technically.
Good to have
Spring Boot
Sound Knowledge of front end technologies-JS Framework (Angular4+ will be preferred), HTML5, CSS-3 and Bootstrap.
Create and design databases, views, stored procedures, functions.
Ability to define requirements and work in a “concept-to-design” model
Good knowledge of various agile methodologies such as SCRUM, CI & CD.
Working knowledge of IBatis/Mybatis, Documentum, POI, and Jasper Reports is a plus.
Should have worked on performance tuning. Should be aware of various performance improvement techniques.
