Job Title: Structural Fitter

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Structural Fitter, where you will play an integral role in our new product line of skid mounted data center racks. As a Structural Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting up channels and I-Beams using blueprints and preparing your own materials for tacking, employing both Mig and Flux-core welding techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Fit up channels and I-Beams according to blueprints.

  • Prepare and tack materials independently using Mig and Flux-core welding.

  • Ensure precise fabrication of structural components.

  • Utilize personal tools effectively in the fitting process.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Structural Fitting.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

  • Ability to fit up and tack independently using Mig and Flux-core welding.

  • Possession of personal tools necessary for the job.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with skids is advantageous but not mandatory.

Work Environment

Work in a medium-sized shop on the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The environment is collaborative and focused on precision engineering, with a casual dress code.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Magnolia, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
