Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Developer Advocate, Technical Consultant).

  • 1 year of experience in writing and maintaining developer-facing documentation, technical educational content or customer-facing presentations.

  • Experience using a scripting language (e.g., Python, Node.js, or Go) to build internal tools, automate workflows, or parse datasets.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience with conversational messaging technology (e.g., rich messaging, bots, API platforms), GSMA standards, SMS/MMS gateways, and telecom signaling.

  • Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth2 and JSON-based webhooks.

  • Understanding the digital advertising ecosystem (e.g., Display Ads, Search, Social, or programmatic advertising) and how messaging serves as a conversion channel.

  • Ability to provide a goal, create narrative messaging, and drive alignment across product, sales, and partner teams.

About the job

As a Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical engine driving the adoption and growth of Rich Communication Services (RCS) for Business platform. You will transform traditional business-to-consumer and consumer-to-business communication into a conversational platform, enabling businesses of all sizes to connect with their customers directly in the native carrier messaging app across platforms. You will require engineering expertise with consultation, focusing on establishing, nurturing, and expanding technical partnership and alliances with key enterprises, as well as building solutions that unlock business and efficiency for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs).

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of Engineering, Sales, and Developer Relations. You will drive the adoption of RCS Business Messaging (RBM) by empowering an ecosystem of Content Aggregators, Resellers, and AdTech partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of conversational flows, system integrations, and overall solutions. Enhance existing solutions to leverage the latest Rich Communication Services (RCS) platform capabilities. Follow engineering best practices (e.g., design and code reviews, test coverage).

  • Support aggregator partners, resellers and messaging providers to ensure the technical adoption and coverage of the RCS platform capabilities.

  • Serve as the technical expert for RCS for Business products and protocols. Troubleshoot technical issues (both on network and application layer), propose solutions, and ensure partners have knowledge and resources needed.

  • Manage executive-level stakeholder interactions. Participate in industry and account business planning, securing alignment with clients, partners, and business.

  • Lead cross-functional efforts in alignment, goal, messaging. Help your peers succeed via mentorship, solution review, creating opportunities, and support.
