Mars Petcare is seeking an experienced and visionary Regional Quality & Food Safety Director to lead and develop the Regional Quality organization within Pet Nutrition Europe (PNE). This pivotal leadership role is responsible for defining and executing the Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) vision and strategy across the region, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality products to our customers and consumers.
Key Responsibilities
Translate PNE Business and R&D strategies into a compelling Quality vision, collaborating closely with Supply, R&D, Global Quality, Commercial, and Market units.
Lead the deployment of quality activities across innovation, renovation, efficiency, and sustainability initiatives within the supply network.
Govern Quality & Food Safety performance across PNE through leadership, organizational alignment, and compliance oversight.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying gaps, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and leveraging learnings from incidents.
Ensure compliance with Mars Quality Management processes and standards, supporting readiness for internal and external audits.
Manage critical product-related incident processes, leading resolution efforts for high-impact issues.
Support factories in achieving quality objectives, including consumer complaint management, incident reduction, and audit compliance.
Lead and develop a high-performing Quality team
About you
Proven experience in Quality & Food Safety , demonstrating deep knowledge of quality management systems and food safety standards.
Strong leadership experience in quality and food safety roles, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
Solid background in food science or food industry , ensuring a comprehensive understanding of product safety and quality challenges.
Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with corporate policies.
