Field Service Technician - Patient Care Informatics (PCI)
Provide on-site technical support for Philips ICCA (IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anesthesia) solutions, supporting implementations and post-installation integrations at the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre – Madrid.
Your role:
You will provide on-site technical support to ICCA (IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anesthesia) Philips solution, including (but not limited to) installations, upgrades, maintenance, repairs, and other associated activities at the client’s facilities.
Work with the client’s Healthcare Information Systems Implementation teams, providing on-site technical support for both implementation and post-installation, including integration tasks, connectivity with third-party devices, and data exploitation.
Provide on-site technical support for continuous improvement.
Serve as technical lead for small to medium-sized implementations and manage escalations appropriately.
Conduct remote monitoring, manage alerts, open incident tickets, and facilitate incident resolution.
Maintain high standards of communication and documentation with clients.
Comply with company work practices and health and safety guidelines while ensuring smooth technical transitions for the project.
You're the right fit if:
You hold a Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science preferred)
You have experience with healthcare products and are proficient in integration standards such as HL7, FHIR, and web services (e.g., using integration engines such as Rhapsody)
You are an expert in Oracle or SQL databases, Windows operating systems, and remote support tools
You hold 2+ years of experience in IT, healthcare products, networking, SQL Server advanced queries, and HL7 integration with Rhapsody
You are a fluent Spanish speaker with a good level of English
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong team spirit, and ability to adapt technically as products evolve
You are proactive, detail-oriented, eager to collaborate, and motivated to help improve customer environments through technical insight and optimization.
Preferred:
Knowledge of health-sector systems and solutions within SERMAS is valued
Additional languages besides Spanish and English will be considered a plus
You have experience with product installation & troubleshooting and IT networking
Experience with healthcare product installation (particularly in critical patient care and electronic health record systems), network diagnosis, system connectivity, and remote service within engineering/medical devices will be an advantage.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
