We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Broadcast Presentation Scheduling Intern to join our dynamic team in Madrid, Spain. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of broadcast media scheduling and operations.
The Scheduling Team within NBCUniversal Global Networks Spain prepares the daily broadcast playlists for the channels Calle 13 and SYFY España, SYFY in Portugal, 13 Ulica and DIVA Balkans.
In this role you will work in close collaboration with other departments, in particular Programming, AdSales, Creative and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating and maintaining daily broadcast schedules for various programs and content
Support the scheduling team in managing last-minute changes and updates to the broadcast lineup
Help coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth program transitions and accurate timing
Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient scheduling processes
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving scheduling workflows
Learn and apply industry-standard scheduling software and practices
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Familiarity with scheduling software (experience not required, but willingness to learn is essential)
Basic understanding of broadcast operations and terminology
Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish as well as in English
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Keen interest in the broadcasting industry and willingness to learn
Mandatory Requirements
You need to be an enrolled university student in your 3rd or 4th year of study
You need to be able to supply us with an internship agreement from your university
This role is addressed to university students interested in a 600 hours internship within our Broadcast Presentation Scheduling department.
