What You Will Do * Analyze mold specifications from CAD models and blueprints to plan optimal build approach. * Perform the final grinding and assembly of molds ensuring proper fits and function. * Collaborate with the CNC, EDM and Polishing groups to ensure the componentry is manufactured to the specifications required for proper final fit, assembly, function, and attainment of molded product specifications. * Work with process engineering technicians to troubleshoot and optimize part molding performance and adherence to product specifications following first-off and subsequent mold tests. * Troubleshoot mold related problems as they occur and perform repairs and modifications necessary to ensure molds are in efficient operating condition and mold product to specification. * Perform mold maintenance to ensure proper function. * Perform work in an efficient and timely manner to ensure that customer timelines are achieved. * Mentor apprentice Toolmakers as directed by management. * Maintain proper documentation as required. * Comply with company quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures. What You Bring Core Qualifications * Associate/Technical degree in machine tooling or similar discipline OR at least three (3) or more years of experience in high precision mold building. * Mold making experience is required. * Excellent grinding skills and ability to consistently grind to one tenth accuracy Preferred Qualifications * Tool & Die Certification and apprenticeship required. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
