TEKsystems Technical Project Coordinator in Madison, Wisconsin
Description
TEKsystems is partnering with a local client to identify a highly organized and detail‑oriented Technical Project Coordinator to support fast‑paced field operations. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, thrives on multitasking, and communicates confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
The Technical Project Coordinator acts as the central point of coordination for projects by ensuring technicians, materials, and equipment are in the right place at the right time. When things don’t go as planned, this person proactively identifies solutions to keep projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
Partner closely with Project Managers to coordinate and track multiple concurrent projects
Serve as a primary point of contact for field technicians; handle inbound calls and support day‑to‑day needs
Coordinate materials, equipment, and personnel to ensure job sites are fully prepared for scheduled installations
Support service calls related to connectivity and installation issues (e.g., kiosks, TVs, POS systems, cameras, routers, switches, displays)
Monitor schedules, resolve conflicts, and quickly secure replacements if personnel, materials, or equipment become unavailable
Maintain accurate documentation, schedules, and project updates
Role Focus This is a highly detail‑oriented and fast‑paced role centered on accountability and ownership. Success requires staying organized across multiple projects, anticipating needs, and responding professionally under pressure. While the role is not deeply technical, it does require strong coordination skills and the ability to communicate clearly in dynamic situations.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to remain calm and solution‑oriented in high‑pressure environments
Experience with Microsoft Office and basic project coordination tools
All levels of experience are encouraged to apply

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
