Job Summary As Alliant Energy continues to grow and modernize its infrastructure, the reliability, performance, and security of our communications network are more critical than ever. The Sr. Network Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting that growth-maintaining and monitoring a complex network environment that includes fiber optic transport, leased circuits, and IP/MPLS routing and switching infrastructure. In this role, you\'ll provide real-time operational support using enterprise monitoring platforms, responding to alarms, troubleshooting issues across Layers 1-3, and coordinating closely with field operations and engineering teams during incidents and maintenance events. You\'ll also support circuit provisioning, device configuration, change control, and documentation, helping ensure Alliant\'s expanding network remains resilient, secure, and scalable as the business evolves. What you will do * Coordinates departmental projects and the design, evaluation, recommendation, building, testing and maintenance of medium to large computing services and writes specification documents for these systems. * Responds to support tickets and resolves technical issues escalated through Help Desk Help Desk within specified timeframes, uses troubleshooting tools and procedures to resolve issues, and maintains defined service levels. * Provides leadership and guidance for resolution of moderate to complex operational issues. * Complies with local, state, and government regulations such as SOX, NERC CIP, FERC, and TSA. * Maintains disaster recovery plans and coordinates the planning and execution of disaster recovery drills. * Leads creation and maintenance of technical documentation related to hardware/software in client computing environment as well as training materials for end users. * Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives. * Participates in the usage of Agile processes to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deliver products. * Assists other teams and helps manage relationships with outside vendors. * Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy\'s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.
