Overview We\'re seeking a Senior Engineer/Assistant Project Manager with our Environmental Engineering, Construction, & Remediation practice in Madison, Wisconsin. This position would be part of an experienced team that works closely with Senior Project Managers and other technical leads providing technical support for due diligence, soil, groundwater, and vapor investigations, groundwater monitoring, remediation, engineering design, and regulatory compliance projects. We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and strong communicator with an eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a desire to be part of a growing and high performing team. Responsibilities Support environmental assessment, investigation, remediation, and compliance related projects in the field and office. Work with Senior Project Managers to scope, cost, plan, and execute investigation and remediation projects. Lead and assist development of proposals, including preparation of work scopes and budgets. Prepare for work activities (e.g., plan field work, develop work plans, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients). Delegate work effectively to junior staff to meet project goals. Contribute to technical reports and work plans and provide Quality Assurance reviews for technical reports prepared by others. Work with Senior Engineers to evaluate, design and implement soil, groundwater, and vapor remediation systems, including developing rationales and cost estimates. Perform a variety of field work including, but not limited to: On-site reconnaissance of project sites, including active rights-of-way and manufacturing facilities; Collection of soil, groundwater, and air samples; Remedial system operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OMM); and Construction oversight.
