ManpowerGroup Purchasing Administrator in Madison, Wisconsin

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and logistics, is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Administrator to join their team. As a Purchasing Administrator, you will be an essential part of the procurement department supporting vendor relations and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Purchasing Administrator

Location: Madison

Pay Range: $25+/hr

Shift: Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Create, process, and track purchase orders to ensure timely procurement of goods and services

  • Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance with company policies

  • Monitor order statuses and resolve any supplier issues promptly

  • Coordinate returns, replacements, and credits with vendors

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes

What's Needed?

  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative roles

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with MS Business Central

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain (preferred)
