Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification - Inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up; identify issues which adversely affect product requirements - Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution - Ensure part quality meets established standards and follow Good Manufacturing Practices - Complete all shift documentation/paperwork - Go over job status and updates with incoming shift - Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - At least one year of manufacturing or related experience - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to read, write and speak English to meet training, safety and quality requirements - Basic math skills - Computer and software skills - Ability to lift up to 10 lbs continuously (cases of product and hand tools) - Ability to lift 11-30 lbs regularly (3-4 times per shift) - Ability to lift 31-50 lbs occasionally (1-2 lbs per shift) - Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist and stand for long periods of time - Ability to work in warm environments ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: madison@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/800644 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
