Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in managing warehouse logistics, inventory accuracy, and freight routing for the plant. This position ensures customer shipments are processed efficiently, inventory transactions are accurate, and material flow supports production and customer demand.
What You’ll Do
Shipping, Routing & Documentation
Review all releases from Customer Service and route shipments to appropriate carriers.
Determine truckload vs. less‑than‑truckload (LTL) routing and consolidate LTL shipments when possible.
Utilize Uber Freight and customer portals to ensure accurate freight routing and resolve carrier issues.
Print Bills of Lading and create accurate shipment documentation.
Ensure truckload shipments maximize weights (targeting >42,000 lbs. average).
Receiving & Inventory Control
Receive raw materials, MRO, and indirect items; label and process all receipts in a timely manner.
Conduct monthly and quarterly cycle counts and support other inventory control activities (including PLOCS).
Disposition materials and communicate status updates to relevant stakeholders.
Set up vendor returns and coordinate associated transactions.
SAP & Transaction Processing
Utilize SAP as the primary system for logistics and inventory functions.
Create pick lists and support Material Handlers with accurate pick documentation.
Verify material availability and readiness prior to shipment.
Cross-functional Communication
Collaborate closely with Planning, Quality, and Operations to resolve issues with releases, product readiness, or quality holds.
Collaborate with Customer Service to revise shipments when necessary.
Operational Support
Assist Material Handlers and Dock Workers as needed.
Support Ink Dock activities, which may involve handling hazardous materials.
Complete monthly GMP cleaning requirements.

What You Bring
Associate’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or equivalent experience (preferred).
DOT Certification or ability to obtain within the first 90 days.
2–5 years of logistics, freight, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
