Robert Half Logistics Clerk in Madison, Wisconsin
Description We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of pharmaceutical products. This is a long-term contract position that requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the shipping and receiving of pharmaceutical products to ensure timely delivery.
• Assemble and prepare boxes for product shipments, adhering to packaging guidelines.
• Manage the mailing process for medications, including refrigerated and ice-packed items.
• Process incoming orders and accurately package medications for distribution.
• Organize and shelve incoming pharmaceutical shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Perform light computer-based tasks, including data entry and order tracking.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged items to ensure proper handling and storage.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily fulfillment goals.
• Utilize tools such as IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Office Suites to manage logistics operations.
• Provide excellent customer service when handling inquiries related to deliveries and shipments. Requirements • Prior experience in logistics, fulfillment, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in tools such as IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Excel to support operational tasks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites, including Outlook, for communication and record-keeping.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and shipping processes.
• Physical capability to remain on your feet for the majority of the workday.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure proper packaging and handling of medications.
