YWCA MADISON Human Resources Director in MADISON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: This is a leadership role responsible for aligning human resources systems with our mission, values, and long-term organizational goals. The Human Resources Director ensures that YWCA Madison\'s employment practices are legally sound, equitable, and supportive of a healthy, accountable workplace culture. The Human Resources Director leads the strategic direction, development, implementation, and compliance of all HR functions. This includes workforce planning, policy development, employee relations, investigations, performance management systems, and oversight of payroll and benefits administration. This position works in close collaboration with the CEO, HR Committee, and Directors Team to integrate justice-centered values into legally rigorous HR systems. The HR Director ensures that culture-building efforts are paired with strong compliance practices and clear accountability. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Required: 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience Demonstrated experience in employment law and compliance. Demonstrated ability to integrate equity/justice frameworks into HR systems. Commitment to ongoing learning and unlearning according to the needs of the organization. Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to manage confidential matters. Experience leading workplace investigations. Desired: 610+ years progressive HR leadership experience.
