Do you love great food, great people, and creating memorable guest experiences? The Wisconsin Union is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Union South and Memorial Union restaurant teams. During the Academic year this position is located in Union South. During the Summer months this position will transfer to the Memorial Union. At both locations this position supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and supervising staff -all while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety. This person in this role plays a key part in team performance, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction. You\'ll work alongside other professionals and students, utilizing your skills and talent to lead a high-quality food operation for the UW Madison community. A successful candidate will have previous restaurant leadership experience and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and teambuilding skills. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds occasionally needed; Ability to work outside in inclement weather needed. Work Schedule and Location: This position is 100% on-site and is scheduled to work a combination of days, nights and weekends. Operational and work schedules will be closely aligned with the services and customer needs of our units.
