American Family Insurance - Corporate Executive Assistant - VP (Primarily Office) in Madison, Wisconsin
Coordinate the daily administrative needs of executives and the main administrative aspects of the department. Responsibilities include maintaining confidential working relationships with the leader and staff in the normal performance of their responsibilities. You will have several executive administrative responsibilities at a high level of performance, accuracy, discretion, confidentiality and a knowledge of the organization, operation of the company, and office routine.
Position Compensation Range:
$25.50 - $41.68

Primary Accountabilities
Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for leaders, including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compiling documents for travel-related meetings; and scheduling and coordinating meetings internally and/or with vendors
Research, prioritize, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the leader, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral or response.
Provide a bridge for communication between the leader's office and internal departments, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
Work with the leader(s) keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up as needed.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
Demonstrated skills and ability to operate general office equipment.
Demonstrated experience in administrative work and general office administration.
Keyboarding/typing ability of 25 WPM.
Solid knowledge and experience of PC and product software.
Demonstrated experience with calendar scheduling and complex time management.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 10%.
Physical Requirements
- Work that involves sitting/standing.

In this primarily office-based role, you will be expected to spend at least 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from the office. Candidates should reside within approximately 50 miles of one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783
