Overview TRC is seeking a highly motivatedEnvironmental Technicianfor our growing Engineering & Remediation practice inMadison or West Allis, Wisconsin.This position would be part of an experienced team that works closely with Project Managers and other technical leads providing technical support for environmental investigation (e.g., asbestos, soil, groundwater, and vapor), due diligence, groundwater monitoring, remediation, solid waste, and regulatory compliance projects. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and personable individual with an eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a desire to be part of a growing and high performing team. Responsibilities Support project managers and other technical staff with environmental assessment, investigation, remediation, solid waste, and compliance related projects in the field and office. This individual should follow regulatory requirements, standard operating procedures, and TRC protocols, exercise independent judgement and be able to complete tasks and projects with direction from management and provided training Perform a variety of field work including, but not limited to: On-site reconnaissance of project sites, including, but not limited to, active rights-of-way, closed landfills, and manufacturing facilities. Building and transportation bridge/structure inspections including asbestos sampling. Soil and groundwater sampling, including monitoring well gauging. Monitoring and maintenance of remediation systems. Coordinate work with colleagues, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and laboratories to ensure seamless project execution.
