Job Summary
The Director of Procurement Services is responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement and service delivery plans to enhance customer satisfaction, drive business growth, and expand procurement solutions. This role leads and manages the procurement delivery team, oversees resource allocation, and fosters a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. The Director monitors performance through analytics, collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate procurement and service delivery into business processes, and builds key stakeholder relationships. This position ensures compliance with service standards, manages risks, drives innovation in procurement practices, and provides insights and recommendations to senior leadership for practice growth and future planning.
Role Description
Develop and implement strategic procurement and service delivery plans to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
Develop new procurement solutions based on market awareness, research, and subject matter expertise that bring value to clients.
Oversee the procurement delivery team and grow the practice, driving revenue growth and contributing to new pipeline, new customers, and new employees.
Lead and manage the procurement, delivery and services team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee resource allocation and operational budgeting, ensuring optimal utilization of assets to achieve service delivery goals.
Oversee the development and delivery of sales tools, resources, and training programs to support the understanding within SHI and with clients of the value our solutions bring.
Monitor and evaluate service delivery and procurement performance through data-driven metrics and analytics, including chargeability and customer satisfaction, to drive improvements and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to integrate procurement and service delivery into business processes, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, vendors, and sales architects, to support service delivery initiatives and drive organizational success.
Ensure compliance with service delivery policies, procedures, and standards, safeguarding the organization’s reputation and integrity.
Identify and mitigate service delivery and procurement risks through comprehensive risk management strategies and contingency planning.
Drive innovation in service and procurement delivery practices, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and performance.
Report on service delivery, procurement performance, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for future planning.

Other Requirements
Completed Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant work experience required
7-10 years of experience in Procurement, Vendor Management, Sales, Information Technology, or a relevant functional area
4+ years of experience in a management position required
Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events
Ability to travel 25%
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000, which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
