JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title: Data Engineer II SOC Code Job Title: 15-2051, Data Scientists Location: 1050 E Washington Ave., 2nd Floor, Madison, WI 53703 Job Duties: Utilize Kafka, Kafka Connect, AWS, Kubernetes, Flink, Spark, Java, Python, Iceberg, Snowflake, Terraform, and other technologies to support complex use cases such as flattening, deduplicating, and pre-aggregating data before ingestion. Utilize DBT, Airflow, Spark, Flink, DataHub, and custom frameworks to configure and deploy data quality checks and implement alerts for Service Level Agreement (SLA). Utilize Go, Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes to design and implement new platform features to improve developer experience and efficiency, translating the platform needs of backend engineers, analytics engineers, and data analysts into new platform features and requirements. Maintain and continuously improve new and legacy infrastructure, lead large migration and modernization efforts, and optimize existing data pipelines for cost, performance, and scale. Lead team by developing best practices, building detailed documentation, mentoring junior engineers, leading projects, and coordinating large engineering efforts. Approximately 5% domestic travel to participate in meetings at Fetch offices required. Position is based out of Fetch\'s Madison, Wisconsin headquarters, but employee may work remotely from anywhere in the United States. Requirements: Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field and two years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data analytics, including experience with Java, Kafka, Flink, Spark, Python, Go, Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes..
