Expectations for this position: Completes accurate and timely complex clinical trial data entry and reporting. Assists in maintaining accurate subject research files. May coordinate sponsor monitoring visits and/or assist with training of staff. The successful incumbent must maintain knowledge of active research protocols and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems; successfully abstract and interpret protocol-specific data from patient medical records; apply clinical research principles and study-specific guidelines to the work performed; and exhibit great attention to detail to ensure data is entered accurately per outlined requirements. Excellent communication skills are required to interface with investigators, research team members and sponsor representatives. This position is full or part-time, 80%-100%. The core business hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., flexible depending on FTE. This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations.
