Under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Program Supervisor, the 1st shift Custodial Services Supervisor plays a key role in supporting FP&M\'s commitment to highquality service by supervising and providing direction for the custodial lead floor technicians and custodians of a first shift crew. This position establishes custodial goals, identifies the tasks needed to meet them, and executes work plans that contribute to a wellmaintained campus environment. This role conducts work inspections, provides training and coaching on proper cleaning methods, and ensures the safe and effective operation of all equipment. Responsibilities also include removing equipment from service when necessary, arranging repairs, ordering supplies, and performing custodial duties such as operating floor care machines, completing general cleaning tasks, and assisting with snow removal. The first shift Custodial Services Supervisor position is responsible for triaging and managing the response to urgent custodial work orders received during their normal scheduled shift and after hours when another crew is not present. The responsibilities also expand beyond the traditional crew run scope to include specialized planned asset care for all maintained campus facilities. Ongoing/Renewable Full-Time: 100% FTE Hours generally scheduled Tuesday- Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm, Saturday 6:00am- 2:30pm. Occasional nights and holidays may be required for this position.
