The candidate will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, scientists, researchers, and collaborators from across the University to develop and implement a cutting-edge AI-medical imaging-focused research program. Applicants will be considered for the titles listed: Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist. Key Job Responsibilities: Research Responsibilities: The successful candidate will build an innovative multidisciplinary research program that involves the development, evaluation, and/or clinical implementation of novel AI and machine learning applications involving any domain of radiology and medical imaging. Intersections with our existing strong collaborations within the Department of Medical Physics, Department of Population Health, Carbone Cancer Center, and College of Engineering are encouraged. The successful candidate, as part of the RISE community, will have ample interactions with a variety of teams of clinicians and researchers from across the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus to form unique interdisciplinary collaborations. The ultimate goal will be to create a research program that can serve as a hub for innovative AI-medical imaging research initiatives for both internal and external collaborators.
