The Academic Program Specialist works closely with the college\'s student services team and other ECE faculty and staff in supporting the department\'s educational mission. This position will work closely with ECE student organizations, assist with student facing events, and review scholarship and RSO grant applications. They have the responsibility of attracting and retaining talented graduate and undergraduate students and promoting non-pooled tuition programs. This includes providing curricular data for decision making and managing student-facing web content and communications, student events, seminars, undergraduate research opportunities, scholarships, fellowships and student organizations. The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at UW-Madison has a long tradition of excellence in educating, mentoring, and inspiring future leaders; conducting research that is of vital importance to society; and serving Wisconsin, our nation, and the world through professional pursuits.
