Overview
V2X GTS has a requirement for a Systems Engineer /System Integrator in support of the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) in Fort Leavenworth, KS. The Systems Engineer /System Integrator collaborates throughout the exercise planning lifecycle to ensure efficient & effective SIM-STIM integration under the MCTSP and reports directly to the V2X-GTS Site Lead. The successful candidate must be a United States citizen, with proof of citizenship and a Secret clearance. Standard work week is five (5) days per week for up to eight (8) hours per day.
Description:
• Assists throughout the exercise planning process from the architectural perspective of SIM-STIM integration.
• Maintains familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD Cybersecurity standards to support both current and future technical upgrades.
• Capable of working with other teams to develop recommendations for solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Familiar with distributed computing environments and military simulations.
• Familiar with Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS).
• Assists with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware.
• Safeguard and maintain property, materials, and facilities.
• Ensures that standards, specifications, practices, and quality for all products and services are maintained at the acceptable levels required in the contract.
• Ensures that Quality Control standards are observed and followed.
• Provides customer assistance and advice in a proficient and professional manner.
• Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information to a diverse group of customers.
• Other duties as directed by the V2X Site Lead.

Working Environment:
• Applicant may be required to travel and will be required to work in compliance with OSHA and V2X Safety policies and procedures.
• Must have a SECRET Clearance.
Physical Activities:
• Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top or under training/simulation devices.
• Must be able to detect odors or hear noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect problems or flaws in the surrounding environment.
• Walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces up to 8-hours/day & sit for up to 3 hours/day; climb/descend stairs; grasp or handle objects; use finger dexterity; bend elbows/knees; reach above/below shoulders; read/interpret typewritten print; communicate by voice & detect sound by ear.
Education / Certifications:
One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
• High School Graduate required, associate or bachelor's Degree desired.
• Security+.
• IA Level II certification.
Experience:
• Fundamentally computer literate to include (but not limited to) using a personal computer, perform word processing, perform database input, access electronic publications, access the world wide web, brief and debrief software, and fill out electronic forms and grade sheets.
• Ability to support periodic travel.
Skills & Technology Used:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• TADSS, Computer & IT Fault and Troubleshooting Skills.
