Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist - $20/HR - 1st Shift
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage the efficient handling of materials, organizing the warehouse, and overseeing shipping and receiving duties. Join a dynamic team that values continuous learning and growth.
Responsibilities
Manage inventory scanning in and out using RF Gun and Microsoft Office.
Operate sit-down hilo (propane or electric) for material handling.
Organize and maintain the warehouse and shop for optimal efficiency.
Perform shipping and receiving duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in inventory management and ERP software.
Experience with RF Gun for inventory scanning.
Competency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to drive a sit-down hilo (propane or electric).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team-oriented setting.

Work Environment
Work in a leading manufacturing and assembly facility for pathology, histology, necropsy, and morgue equipment. The work environment is clean and organized, with a total of 84 employees, including a team of 10 welders. The dress code includes working attire with a welding helmet, welding gloves, and steel toe boots. The facility operates Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm, with occasional Fridays from 6am to 2:30pm. Employees benefit from a laid-back culture and the opportunity to learn a trade and grow within the company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison Heights, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
