Accountant - Automotive/Manufacturing
Our client in Madison Heights, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Professional to support daily financial operations at our automotive/manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on QuickBooks experience , a solid understanding of manufacturing or inventory-based accounting , and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production environment.

What will you be doing?
Perform daily accounting functions using QuickBooks , including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable , ensuring timely and accurate processing
Track and reconcile inventory transactions , including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
What do you bring?
Positive, can-do attitude
QuickBooks experience required - 3 to 5 years
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (AP, AR, GL)
