Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Madera, California. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering a great opportunity for growth in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy across financial accounts.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and maintain financial records effectively.
• Code invoices and verify supporting documentation for proper classification.
• Assist in processing payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Provide administrative and HR support to streamline operations.
• Maintain and update account records to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes.
• Ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Experience with payroll processing is highly desirable.
• Solid organizational and administrative skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration and problem-solving.
