Process Technician| Hiring Immediately | Macon, Georgia
Compensation:
- Competitive starting pay range of $23.58-$29.73 per hour, paid weekly
Available Shifts:

Job Overview: The Process Technician role is responsible to observe and monitor production process to ensure product meets customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follows all documented safety, quality, and production procedures.
Works on the Production Floor between the Ovens and the Hot Press.
Observes, diagnoses and remedies product flow disruptions from the oven, through the conveyance systems and through the Hot Press Machines.
Redistributes Labor in these areas to support the effective completion of tasks as lines come up and go down or issues arise during the shift.
Communicates the staffing changes to the oncoming crews Shift Technician
Makes predefined assignments when scrap builds at one oven, when ovens go down for repair or when completing housekeeping tasks in this area and when product flow disruptions in this area occur.
Tests Bone Dry Weight Samples as required driven by Line Speed Change, Oven Startup or Oven Temp Change that affects the ability of the carton to successfully move between the Oven, through the conveyance systems and into the Hot Press.
Communicates to the Molder Operator; carton defects that affect quality or the successful movement of the cartons between the Oven to the Hot Press.
Completes a Daily Issue Report by Line for the Supervisor to make entries in Daily Production Report for Macon Status updates.
Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
Maintains excellent safety record.
Maintains excellent attendance record.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment (pulp and paper industry preferred); including successful completion of jobs or similar activities requiring control of a mechanical process and inspection of product to meet quality standards.
Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
Prior process technician experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)
Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)
Working conditions:
Must be physically able to perform the essential job duties.
Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
Works overtime as required.
