Job Summary:
The Lubrication Technician is responsible for performing routine lubrication tasks on construction and industrial equipment, including but not limited to greasing, oil changes, and fluid level checks. Preform inspect and assess equipment for signs of wear, leaks, or other maintenance needs. Along with maintaining accurate records of lubrication activities, including quantities used and equipment serviced. Following established maintenance schedules and prioritize work based on equipment needs and project requirements. Lastly the Lubrication Technician will collaborate with maintenance team members to ensure timely completion of lubrication tasks.
Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, lubrication techniques, and best practices.
Must have Class A CDL and hazmat certification or ability to get them.
Familiarity with different types of lubricants, their applications, and appropriate usage.
Ability to interpret equipment manuals and specifications to determine lubrication requirements.
Basic understanding of construction and industrial equipment and their lubrication points.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Requirements and Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have Class A CDL and hazmat certification or ability to get them.
Relevant certifications or licenses, such as a lubrication technician certification, are preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing lubrication maintenance on construction or industrial equipment.
Knowledge of equipment lubrication requirements and industry standards.
Familiarity with relevant lubrication tools and equipment.
OSHA 10 or 30-hour construction training.
Proficiency in using lubrication tools and equipment.
Preferred Requirements and Education
Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify lubrication issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough lubrication activities.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Customer service skills to interact with clients or project stakeholders.
