Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Description
Join a leading manufacturer of precision-formed powertrain components for the automotive and industrial sectors. We are expanding rapidly and are seeking skilled CNC operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts to meet increasing production demands. Each operator is expected to produce between 500 and 1,100 parts per shift using our 49 CNC machines on the floor.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines efficiently and accurately to meet production targets.
Produce between 500 and 1,100 parts per shift.
Assist with offsets and changeovers in collaboration with other operators.
Utilize micrometers, calipers, and gauges for precise measurements.
Engage in training and development to enhance skills and productivity.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 months CNC operating experience, preferably with lathe machines.
Experience in an automotive setting with high-volume production.
Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Familiarity with PLEX software.
Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of CMM is advantageous.
Strong coachability and positive attitude are essential.

Work Environment
Work in a brand new, clean, and well-lit facility that is climate-controlled. The shifts are from 11pm to 7am, with a 5% shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macomb, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
