Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist in Machelen, Belgium

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Care Specialist to join our Air Logistics team at our Brucargo office. In this role, you will be responsible for professional communication with our customers and to deliver excellence in every local interaction elevating the customer experience across all touchpoints.

How you create impact

  • Manage daily interactions with our customers and act as their primary point of contact

  • Handle orders commercially, taking into account rates, guidelines, and the nature of the shipment

  • Qualify customer requests, prepare quotations in line with corporate pricing standards, identify up‑selling opportunities, and ensure diligent follow-up and closure

  • Monitor shipments and provide proactive status updates to customers, including regular performance reviews

  • Record and enter all customer requirements into the relevant systems to ensure that all operational teams have the information they need

  • Lead and manage customer growth and retention initiatives, own profitability management, and conduct regular customer performance reviews to drive continuous improvement

What we would like you to bring

  • Solid experience in a similar role in freight forwarding, ideally in air logistics

  • Strong communication skills with a customer‑centric approach, and a strong team‑player mentality enabling effective collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset paired with resilience in challenging situations

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a strong advantage
